There are 3 steps to redirect new user to a special page.

1. Goto your registration page and put this code in config section
[text]<set_var_welcome>0</set_var_welcome>[/text]

2. Now put this code in your header [link=/code?act=newuser]copy code[/link].

3. Now it's you turn you need to modify welcome variable of user.
